What to Bring if You're a Boarder...


Here is a list of what we, as boarders, think are the most important things to bring (or not to bring) to the Boarding House, whether you're staying one night, or if you are a new boarder. Please comment if you have more ideas!

Boarder’s Essentials
Bedding:
               Twin XL sheet
               Pillow and Pillow case
               Mattress pad
   Blanket or Comforter

Clothing
               School attire x five
               After School wear (jeans, t-shirts, shorts, sweat shirt)
               Athletic wear (jogging, Soccer, Basketball etc.)
   Winter Wear (coat, gloves, hat)
               Snow Boots, Tennis Shoes, Dress Shoes
               Undergarments

School Supplies:
               Pens
   Pencils
   Spiral bound notebooks, Binders, page protectors
   Sticky Notes

Computers:
               School Issued computer (Personal Computers and IPads are discouraged)
               Cell Phones

Toiletries
               Toothbrush
   Toothpaste
   Razors
   Brush, Comb
   Shampoo
   Bath soap
   Towels, bath towel and washcloth
   Medications are all dispensed by the Resident Guides. Please turn in medications on arrival.
   Sun Screen

Musical instruments

Appliances (allowed)
Clock radio, alarm clock
Phones
Steam Iron
Hair Dryers

Appliances (Not Allowed)
               Portable Heaters

               Refrigerators
               Furniture (chairs, couches)

               Non-School Computers

Personal Money
               Reloadable Debit card
               Cash
               (This is a personal choice. Students can function with very little money)
